I’m jealous! That’s right! I said it! I know coveting what someone else has is not cool. But I am green over my lack of green in the garden! My husband and I have the slowest producing plants around! I know this because I look into everyone’s yard to see what they have going on. Then I compare it to mine. It’s clear my cukes don’t measure up.Producing mediocre produce doesn’t make me toss in my hoe and give up! It makes me try harder! We continue to weed, water and nurture our skimpy seedlings. We also research, ask questions and experiment. All with a sense of curiosity. We are new to horticultural endeavors. We have much to learn.
Gardens bring me joy. Whether it is in my own back yard or someone else’s. I get my inspiration from looking around and seeing what’s possible. Gardening really is a metaphor for life. We plant seeds yet the outcome is unpredictable. I remain hopeful we have some late bloomers.
Wonderful post and so true about life.

Indeed. We are only human and subject to human thoughts and emotions. It is how we cultivate our feelings and thoughts. I love the garden analogy. :0
